About Us

Ciao gallery is an artists' cooperative located in Wilsaon, Wyoming at the base of the Teton mountain range. The gallery opened with a kick-off reception on March 24th, 2007. Artists of varied backgrounds working in a diverse array of media are featured in the space. The gallery also exhibits a full range of styles, from representational to the contemporary, in both two and three dimensions.

Ciao is unique for this area in that it permits local artists to have complete control of their own gallery, by sharing the costs and efforts required to run and maintain the space. In this way, Ciao gallery is a grassroots effort that will continually grow and evolve as its artists do. Here, the artists are literally the heart and soul of the operation, and they can be free to experiment with what they choose to display - undoubtedly much more so than in a traditional gallery setting.

Each month, Ciao gallery features the work of a single artist or a pair of artists from our cooperative, starting with a new opening reception on the last Saturday of each month. This allows all of our artists to achieve a great degree of visibility, and it allows the public to see an ever-changing display of artwork when they visit the gallery.
